The Independence Day Parade was fun again! It was well attended for a 3 day weekend, with estimates from 75-100 people and pets. There were popsicles, and a surprise visit from the West Metro FireTruck. The decorations were used to good effect - people, bikes and pets looked colorful and festive. Neighbors came out to wave and more houses along the parade route are decorated every year. It is so fun to see the participation level rise for this wonderful American holiday. Thank you all, especially our organizer, Karen Morgan.
