The 2012 Holiday Light and Decoration Winners

Best of Show:

  13452 W Dakota Ave. The whole house and yard are lit up and pulsing to music at 97.7.  There’s a row of waving snow men with one even tipping his hat to you. A large lighted merry-go-round is a sight to see and there are lots of lights circling all the trees with a large herd of lighted deer in the yard.



Runners up:  Three (3) outstanding Holiday light shows.

  645 South Eldridge St. AMAZING! Tons of lights. Lights and holiday figures line both sides of the long driveway, and everywhere in their yard are decorations and even gaily wrapped presents to see. The entire house (and a very tall house) is trimmed with Christmas Lights! And every window has a lighted holiday scene.

 14022 West Exposition Place always one of the best displays and a past First Place, on a corner lot with both the front and side covered with cheer. —a real must see for the Holidays.

 14387 West Exposition Drive. Another corner house with lots of decorations in the front including a great row of candy canes, the side with many wrapped trees and even in the back with their deck all decorated and lit up with holiday lights.

 14124 West Alaska Drive: A retro tree with a light wheel, a wreath in every window, nativity scene, a beautiful Christmas tree in front covered with lights and large ornaments and with a shining star on top.

 869 S Cole Dr: “Home for the Holidays”. Lots of everything to see! Very bright full of joy.

 897 S Cole Dr: Very bright, with trains, airplanes, and inflatable animals.
