At the end of January, 2014 GMCA concluded the Request for Proposal ("RFP") process. Five companies submitted responses for consideration; each qualified for consideration.
Republic Services was finally selected for several reasons including a favorable discounted price for new subscribers as well as existing customers; a two-year rate freeze; a customer service force located in Commerce City; and the inclusion of 96-gallon container(s) as part of their service. The data we used, including price comparison charts and tables, are included in the Trash Collection Selection section of the website.

Existing GMCA customers of Republic Services will receive the new rates for invoices dated February 1 and after. There will be no retroactive adjustments. If you get an invoice dated on or after February 1 that does not reflect the new rates, call 303-286-1200 and identify yourself as a member of "GMCA Group 907". Please have your invoice when you call. GMCA and Republic will be working to identify all GMCA addresses. When completed, the new rates should be automatic.
