Foothills Field of Dreams

On Friday April 3, 2015 the Field of Dreams was dedicated. GMCA joined with several other civic and church organizations to mount an effort that is now known as the Field of Dreams.  The effort was rewarded with a grant of over $300,000 to reclaim a large area behind Foothills Elementary School and to build a combination baseball field and soccer field.  It's a wonderful achievement complete with irrigation, fan seating and picnic areas.  You need to see it.

Diane Rhodus accepted a plaque expressing appreciation for the contributions of time and money that GMCA members made.
We have some wonderful pictures of the ground breaking ceremony.  Construction will start in earnest after Labor Day.
